God has given new meaning to getting burned by a church. On Sunday, January 2, 2011 Servanthood Fellowship burned the land note. The final total after all gifts were given was $47,298 which brings the double up gift total to $94,594. Both totals bring us to a grand total of $141,892, which pays off the land and allows us to begin the building process. We want to thank everyone for their prayers and obedience. God has moved in a way that many people thought would never happen. It is amazing to think that in less than a year God made a way for this vision to become a reality. It is exciting to think about how amazing the last 30 days have been, but it is even more exciting to think that this is just the beginning of God’s provision and ministry through The Epicenter. Please continue to pray for The Epicenter as we press forwards to the goals that He has set before us.

A longtime Battle Cry supporter approached me today to inquire about the status of The Epicenter. He wanted to know when it was going to be built. I told him that we had recently purchased a little over 14 acres and that as soon as we pay it off, we were going to begin building. He then wanted to know how much we owe. I told him about $150,000 was still owed. He said, “This is what I feel led to do: whatever you raise up to $50,000 by Jan 1st, I’ll double it.”

DO THE MATH!! If $50,000 can be raised for The Epicenter by Jan 1st, this man will write a check for $100,000 and we will burn the note and start the building process of The Epicenter!!!

The bible says that we have not because we ask not. With this kind of return, I am compelled to ask as far and wide as I can. If you are getting this and you do not feel led to give financially, PLEASE join us through prayer that we will hit our goal of $50,000 by Jan 1st.
